Damian Cayzer

Damian Cayzer is the Managing Director of Kerleys Coastal Real Estate, a family agency founded in Geelong in 1910 and now in its second century of trading. Born and raised in Point Lonsdale, Damian has owned and led Kerleys for 25 years, continuing a family connection to local real estate that began with his great, great grandfather, Point Lonsdale’s first estate agent, whose sales records date to the early 1900s.

Damian has been selling real estate since 1992, with expertise spanning residential and commercial sales, auctioneering, property management and project marketing. His knowledge of the local market is unrivalled, and he holds the rare distinction of having sold a house in every street in the Borough of Queenscliffe.

Large-scale residential land has been a defining part of his career. Damian was the selling agent for Oakdene Estate in Ocean Grove, a master-planned community of just under 1,000 allotments released across 24 stages over 10 years, and was appointed by Stockland as selling agent for The Point Estate in Point Lonsdale, a development of more than 500 allotments. At the premium end of the market, he sold Shortlands Beach Estate in Queenscliff, at the time the most prestigious and expensive small-scale beachfront development in the Geelong region.

This experience has given Damian a detailed understanding of staging, buyer demand and pricing strategy, along with strong working relationships with developers, builders, councils, and legal and town planning professionals. He has since brought it to Victoria’s regional growth corridors, advising on broadacre land, including a major growth-area holding near Ballarat.

Under Damian’s direction, Kerleys has grown into a truly complete real estate agency. Its services include sales, buyer advocacy, project and development marketing, and residential and commercial property management, while a large arm of the business provides holiday rental and short-stay accommodation under the Kerleys Coastal Holidays banner.
